Greetings! Next up on our Road to Ruin Previews Week, we look at the Unicorn Clan, then wrap up with a look at some Unaligned support.
The Unicorn Clan finds itself in a challenging situation, with no clear leader guiding them. After the fall of the Third Seal, their champion, Moto Naleesh, has mysteriously vanished, a closely guarded secret known only to the Clan's upper leadership. Shinjo Saeki and a few trusted Unicorn magistrates are tirelessly searching the lands for any clues about their Champion's fate.
During the critical Second Seal battle, the Unicorn played a pivotal role by acting as vanguards and protecting the combined Clan armies from a devastating defeat. Tragically, Shinjo Min-Hee fell to a devastating maho attack, leaving a further void in the Clan's ranks.
As per the Emperor's orders, the Khan remains in the Imperial capital, while Imperial commander Moto Chinua has been tasked with transporting a load of valuable Imperial relics across the perilous Western Wastes to the safety of the Second City. Curiously, the Emperor has also instructed Chinua to take a substantial force of Unicorn warriors with him, but the reasons behind this decision remain shrouded in mystery.
Of all the refugees to the Shinomen, few are more numerous, or more at peace with their situation, than the Kitsune family. Their deep spiritual connection to the natural world finds them a welcome ally with all but the most ardent anti-human Naga. Ironically, this reclusive family also finds themselves in a position most well-suited to aiding other human refugees searching for safety in the Shinomen.
And that's it for our Road to Ruin previews. Tomorrow we plan on making the entire RtR PDF, as well as an updated Sun and Moon database, available to all in our Public folder. After that, it's a week off for GenCon, then back to talk about updates to RoJ post-release, and the 100+-card Onyx Edition base overhaul. Thank you all for your time and support, it is greatly appreciated.

Project has made a public statement on our cessation of the use of generative AI art. Such art has been removed from the composited cards which were posted with the original preview article, in an effort to preserve the original text which may have evolved since the previews were first posted -- warts and all.
