Gates of Tengoku Fiction Previews II

Today's Gates of Tengoku previews are intended to accompany the Mantis Clan fictions surrounding our first in-person tournament at Gen Con this past August. Please enjoy, and if you haven't looked at the fictions up until now, you can find them at the linked locations!

This first set accompanies the Gusai Ichido fiction, "Stealing Thunder".

Another few cards go with the Yoritomo Seiki fiction, "Man of the People". Karan Bhatt is from one of our online tournaments, where Jonny Hinkle played as top-ranked Mantis, who got to name a minor faction to provide an ally for the Mantis leader of their choice. He asked if we could make the ally a Ruhmalite, and was willing to provide artwork for us. We discussed how best to incorporate that idea into the story, and he was included in the Seiki fiction almost right away; we also designed his card as an additional promo added onto the GoT set.

Not every story choice we provide will be able to color outside the lines, but we felt there were interesting ways of handling this particular choice.
