TAP Balance

Smart Question 00249:

    • What’s TAP Balance?

TAP Response 00249:

    • It’s mainly recognizing and understanding that ‘the pursuit of balance’ is a way better objective than the ‘pursuit of perfection.’ And incorporating TAP balance into daily life.

Smart Question 00250:

    • Why’s TAP balance so important?

TAP Response 00250:

    • Mainly because the universe includes very few specific things that alone can attain perfection, but more importantly - that all things are interconnected and perfecting ALL things together is impossible. Even perfecting a few of the most important things is impossible.

Smart Question 00251:

    • What are examples of some things that can be perfected?

TAP Response 00251:

    • Mathematics is one thing of the universe that can find perfection. Attaining a perfect score on a test is another. Getting a perfect 10 for ‘your’ gymnastics performance is another. There are a few things in our world where perfection can be the objective, but far more where a perfection pursuit does not even make any sense.

Smart Question 00252:

    • How does TAP balance help improve the world and the specific life of the 100% unique individual?

TAP Response 00252:

    • TAP balance mainly helps the group of minds discover and better understand what the balancing point for the moment might really be. TAP mainly exists to establish the group mind voice. To find the agreement of the group. To find the positive agreement which always creates the best reference for the next thinking, decision-making and action to be taken next. Instead of arguing and debating and establishing a debate winner and moving forward with the one opposite extreme approach, TAP automatically generates an in between balancing solution - always avoiding either extreme difference and disagreement position.

Smart Question 00302:

    • If electrical production had to be limited, how would its use be balanced?

TAP Response 00302:

    • So imagine, for a particular near-future day, the only source of energy had to come from local solar, wind and water-flow generated power. No more burning fossil fuel. No more long-distance transmission of electricity from grid to grid. And each and every citizen and Co-TAP had a limited daily allotment of electricity. Metering actually turns off power when 'you' hit the quota. What things of life that require electricity would be prioritized toward the top of the list? Or thought about the other way - what things of life would drop to the bottom of the list and would NOT get powered? If 'you' can wrap your mind around this sort of thinking, prioritizing and decision-making - then 'you' have a great starting place for understanding the TAP world. Based on the group voice of 'your' physical-world region - this directs what gets funded, built and maintained - both from generation and from consumption sides. Everything else 'electrical' and possible or once in existence at the bottom of the priority list - does not exist or disappears from civilization. This is how, in part, humanity creates balance and hands to their children a world that promises as good or a better overall life and existence. TAP civilization does NOT keep taking - all that is possible to take - in the present time. It better regulates consistency across time. This is one example of a case-list that TAP looks to create now. Let's see what our combined values co-create for this particular list. With the resultant list will then help us better understand what the balanced future might look like.

Smart Question 00370:

    • Are there good and bad ways to create balance?

TAP Response 00370:

    • Absolutely! Take today's world as an example of how NOT to create balance.
    • If 'you' imagine a pendulum swinging back and forth with great amplitude - this is today's world.
    • There's no way to stop the pendulum bob in real life with a real world civilization that exists within a real physical realm. So the very best way to balance the civilization is to keep it as still as possible with minimal oscillation and amplitude. This is what TAP offers.
    • What happens when major world events emerge in time - is the bob gets tapped and balance is lost for a time. Humanity reacts and often overreacts which then sends the bob into full swing path oscillation that will eventually slow down and seek balance again.
    • The goal is to eliminate the oscillation. Instead, when the bob gets tapped - in either direction ('you' can imagine negative on one side and positive on the other) - it moves away quickly and then slowly comes back to the resting (balanced) position - without swinging the other way. Think of a pendulum with built-in dampening or a braking system engineered in.
    • This option of balancing a mechanical or physical world model also translates over to our minds that exist in the non-physical realm. When bad or good happens - which it always will - better to react knowing the best approach to quickly finding balance again. For overreacting often means we will need to deal with the negative consequences of imbalance for a longer period of time.
    • Another great example is weight control within our bodies. Overeat gain extra weight, diet and the pendulum starts swinging - often it gets more and more out of control as time marches forward. The best approach is just to focus on maintaining continuous balance.
    • Humans love change and they hate change. They love positive change and hate negative change. Both tap the pendulum bob and start it oscillating. This is usually NOT a good thing with anything in the universe - physical or non-physical.

Smart Question 00371:

    • What's TAP got to say about balancing model regulation (civilization) with personal freedom (citizen)?

TAP Response 00371:

    • First, both MUST exist. There's no doing one without the other. They are very much opposing forces, so a balance MUST be created.
    • The model should not expect the human to change what they presently are. And what they are is a quite selfish animal. An animal that is more animal than logical intelligence.
    • Today's model teaches people to be even more selfish than they really are. People naturally have unselfish tendencies too. But the present model does very little to encourage unselfishness.
    • The TAP model includes great improvement in helping all citizens create a better balance between these too inherent forces within the mind. It does so by creating a better balance between regulation (game play & game rules) and personal freedom (player decision & action.)
    • The game is set of processes with built-in incentives and penalties. It regulates with these two opposing encouragements. But it's 100% up to the player to abide by the rules or bend and break them. There's no preventing freedom of choice in the player.
    • TAP does NOT ask players to alter their true selves. Instead it encourages 100% honesty - all the time. Be 100% honest to maximize 'your' happiness.
    • All TAP can do with the process and rules is encourage positive decision-making & behavior. And this all builds up from a solid foundation of honest information that contains facts, reality and limitation awareness.
    • The biggy is that NOT everyone can have everything. There great limitation of everything so choices must be made all the time. Only some will get this and others will get that. And 'you' will NOT always be given the opportunity to make the choice. Often in the real world others or other factors will greatly limit your choices. The best the model can do is attempt to place as much equality as possible into each and every system that comprise it. To attempt to create as much freedom and equality of choice as possible.
