THE COLONIAL REPRESENTATION ACT of 2025

& His Royal Highness The Lt. King M. Sauvage.
Establishment of Colony Legislatures
Section One: Each colony within the EmoKingdom03_ Empire shall have the right to establish its own legislative assembly.
Section Two: The purpose of these assemblies is to ensure local representation, governance, and decision-making tailored to the specific needs of each colony.
ARTICLE TWO
Naming of Assemblies
Section One: The official name of colonial representative assemblies shall be House Of Representatives.
ARTICLE THREE
Legislative Authority
Section One: Colony legislatures shall have authority over matters specific to their colony, provided such legislation aligns with the Royal Council and laws of the EmoKingdom03_ Empire.
Section Two: Colony legislatures may propose and pass laws applicable within their colony's boundaries.
ARTICLE FOUR
Royal Assent
Section One: All laws passed by colony legislatures shall require royal assent before taking effect.
Section Two: A royal member of the Royal Council shall review and sign each law to ensure compliance with the principles and values of the EmoKingdom03_ Empire.
Section Three: Colonial laws passed prior to the passing of this act shall not require royal assent.
ARTICLE FIVE
Oversight
Section One: Colony legislatures must operate transparently and be accountable to their citizens and the empire.
Section Two: The Parliament of EmoKingdom03_ reserves the right to review and overturn legislation from colony legislatures if deemed necessary for the greater good of the empire.
THIS ACT HAS BEEN DEBATED UPON BY THE HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT AND PASSED A MAJORITY VOTE.
THIS ACT HAS BEEN GRANTED ROYAL ASSENT BY THE ROYAL COUNCIL AND HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY DECLARED A LAW AS OF APRIL 21ST, 2025.
