THE SHIPS ACT of 2025
Submitted by The House of Parliament of The Empire of EmoKingdom03_
on the day of January 19th, 2025 during The 8th Session of Parliament.
Enacted & Granted Royal Assent by way of the signatures of
His most Excellent Majesty, King Cubby I,
& His Royal Highness The Lt. King M. Sauvage.
Sailing Licenses
Section One: All individuals wishing to sail ships must obtain a sailing license from the Parliament.
Section Two: Only those with a valid sailing license are permitted to sail ships.
Section Three: Sailing licenses may require training and the taking of a test should the royal council find it necessary. Licenses can be issued without these training tests at the council's discretion.
ARTICLE TWO
Purchase of Ships
Section One: Ships are to be purchased exclusively from Emokingdom03_ for the price of 100 Emrialds.
Section Two: Colonies that meet the following criteria shall be presented a ship free of charge from the kingdom:
-Established border (as marked by a map)
-Established Official flag
-Continuous progress as deemed fit by the royal council.
ARTICLE THREE
Representation and Protection
Section One: Ships must have a sail representative of their registered Kingdom, colony, or territory, to be considered a ship of the EmoKingdom03_ Empire.
Section Two: Ships that fly the kingdom's flag will be protected as sovereign soil of the Emokingdom03_ empire.
Section Three: Ships without a sail representative of the kingdom will not be protected by the kingdom.
ARTICLE FOUR
Aid and Assistance
Section One: All sailors are required to assist other sailors in danger and aid other vessels in distress.
ARTICLE FIVE
Trade Regulations
Section One: Ships engaged in trade must adhere to the kingdom's trade regulations, including tariffs, customs duties, and approved trade routes.
Section Two: Ships that are involved in trade may use the optional prefix: E.K.T.S. (EmoKingdom Trade Ship)
ARTICLE SIX
Piracy
Section One: Piracy is strictly outlawed. Any acts of piracy will be met with severe penalties, including the revocation of sailing licenses and possible imprisonment.
ARTICLE SEVEN
Territorial Restrictions
Section One: Ships are not to enter within 100 blocks of any territory of the Emokingdom03_ Empire without prior permission.
Section Two: EmoKingdom03_ and those under the EmoKingdom03_ Empire reserve the right to defend themselves from any perceived threat.
ARTICLE EIGHT
Misuse of Ship Cannons
Section One: Misuse of ship cannons may result in the revocation of the sailing license.
Section Two: The kingdom reserves the right to retract sailing licenses at any time should they deem it necessary, such as when a ship is used against the kingdom in a military action.
Section Three: Any disputes arising from the use or ownership of ships shall be resolved through the kingdom's legal system.
THIS ACT HAS BEEN DEBATED UPON BY THE HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT AND PASSED A MAJORITY VOTE.
THIS ACT HAS BEEN GRANTED ROYAL ASSENT BY THE ROYAL COUNCIL AND HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY DECLARED A LAW AS OF JANUARY 19TH, 2025.
