THE M.O.F.A. BUILDING

BUILDING HISTORY

The M.O.F.A. Building is a Neoclassical Style Building consisting of 3 main floors and an attic.

The M.O.F.A. Building was the second building in the Northern portion of Dionysia.

Construction on the M.O.F.A. Building originally started on June 18th, 2025.

Construction of the exterior building was completed on June 24th, 2025.

The exterior shell of the building consists of just over 213 stacks of Quartz Blocks (~13,642 Blocks).

The M.O.F.A. Building is based on two different buildings.

The East & West facades are based on the U.S. Treasury Building in Washington D.C.

The North & South facades are based on the William J. Clinton Building in Washington D.C.

The U.S. Treasury Building, Washington D.C.

The U.S. Treasury building has served as the headquarters for the U.S. Treasury since the 1800s. Parts of the modern building were originally built in 1836 in a Neoclassical style.

The William Jefferson Clinton Federal Building, Washington D.C.

The Bill Clinton Building originally served as the headquarters of the Post Office Department until its replacement. In following years the building has housed BATFE and the EPA. The building was originally built in 1934 in a Classical Revival style.
