• Based on Garrard Conley's 2016 memoir of the same name, Boy Erased is a 2018 American biographical drama film.

• MOVIE INFO - Jared Eamons, the son of a small-town Baptist pastor, must overcome the fallout after being outed as gay to his parents. His father and mother struggle to reconcile their love for their son with their beliefs. Fearing a loss of family, friends and community, Jared is pressured into attending a conversion therapy program. While there, Jared comes into conflict with its leader and begins his journey to finding his own voice and accepting his true self. (@rottentomatoes)

• This is a movie with a run time of 1h 55min. Actually, no'ng isang araw ko pa 'to napanood at ngayon lang ako sinipag gawa'n 'to ng review since hindi ko 'to nagustuhan at all.

• Nakakainis mga characters dito, may hom0phobic, body shamer, feeling entitled, atbp. Meron silang therapy program yata 'yon basta religious people handle that. Part ng LGBTQ+ ang pinapasok doon & "binab4lik or binab4go" muli ang landas kuno at isa na roon si Jared na anak ng isang preacher.

• Isa talaga sa kinaiinisan ko is masyadong feeling entitled 'yong mga humahawak ng program na 'yon esp (chief) Sykes. Basta religious people sila ta's mas ok daw na ro'n sila napunta kaysa sa fancy university eneme. Hindi naman porket religious ka eh tama ka na sa lahat ng bagay, na mas angat ka, or lahat ng dinaanan mo sa buhay ay applicable na sa lahat. Religious nga baduy naman mindset. Dictator. Didiktahan ka kung ano dapat mong gawin at kung maging ano ka bilang mabuting STRAIGHT na tao--kasi kapag gay ka makasalanan ka na. Mas masahol pa nga sila kung tutuusin, sa mga pag-uugali at mga gawain na masama for them pero ginagawa rin nila nang patago ./.

• Nakakainis din parents ni Jared, the fact na nar@pe ang anak nila, mas nagfocus pa rin sila sa pagiging homosexual at kung paano pa rin siya mababago. wth?!!

• Path to righteousness? Tama pa ba ang path kung hindi ka naman masaya sa bawat hakbang mo? For me kasi ang tama is dapat masaya ka sa pag-usad mo na walang tinatapakang kahit sino including yourself!!

• DON'T FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT.

• 'Yong "SHAME ON YOU!" ni Ms. Nancy super satisfying. That's so powerful, loved it <333 Trauma lang nakuha ni Jared pero infairness sa parents niya nagkaroon ng character development.

• Hindi kailangan magbago ng tao 'bout sa gender niya, ikaw sa sarili mo ang magbago--mindset mo ang dapat baguhin. Nakuha yamot ko at subjective naman ako, so I'll give it 6/10.
