POA Summons Application

Application for a POA Summons can be used when charging for a POA offence by the Part 3 was not issued on scene and the officer cannot attend the person's address to serve them.   For example, the driver was not charged at the time of the collision and now charges can be laid but driver lives outside of Hamilton.

Patrol Requirement:

• GOR

• Notes / Will say

• Add Charges under the driver

• Complete the Application for POA Summons / PART III Summons form.  BDL completed form into Niche

• Call Records for a POA E-tracker

• Submit the Application for POA Summons form into the ticket box like a Part III
