Welcome back,
We are starting the third stop of this Past Continuous project, a project that uses recent history as a tool to work on disinformation. As you have seen in previous activities, the concept of fake new, although we consider it current, has been present throughout the history of humanity, since the personal and collective interests of a few have legitimized manipulations and falsehoods without citizens being aware of it in many cases. Today, in a hyperconnected and immediate world, this manipulation is maintained but at a dizzying speed.
In this third activity entitled Spain: what does the cinematograph hide? We will place ourselves in the period after the 2nd World War and in which Spain was immersed in a dictatorship under the orders of General Francisco Franco. The theme of the activity revolves around women in the propaganda of the dictatorship.
The activity will be developed in 3 PHASES, in each of them you will find the reference material and the work material in order to carry out the different tasks that we have prepared for you, do you dare? Be my guest!
To start, you can click on this document that will place you in the historical context of the activity and without which you cannot start!
After this brief introduction, we move on to answer the following question:
what was the socially accepted role of women during the Franco regime?
To do this, we invite you to read the content of the first step of the Introduction Km0 activity. The construction of the Francoist woman model.
After this first step that has introduced us to the activity, we want you to continue with the second step, so take a look at the following video:
