The Ants

The Ants - Colin Lee (Juliet Morris Elementary School, 6th Grade)

The colony and the queen ant,

they work without a pant.

Ants will expand the colony,

and the queen will find a big tree.

A complex of pathways and holes,

ants are like little moles.

They’ve been living through generations,

and they are such big sensations.

The worker ants and the queen ant,

For food, they will rant.

All those tiny creatures,

those little barrier breachers,

they might one day attack,

and we might not fight back.
