Everyone Matters - Minzhu Wen (A.E Arnold Elementary, 6th Grade)
Everyone matters,
Like pieces of puzzles,
Each piece is different and unique,
but they are needed to complete the picture
Being in charge doesn’t crown you king,
A King that yells at his loved ones,
A king that picks on the others,
A king that thinks the world revolves around him.
When you are in charge it also doesn't mean you need to be better than the others. Everyone is nearly perfect,
in their own special way
No one is better than the other,
For each have their own pro and cons, we all have our special talent No one is worse than the other
For mistakes are an opportunity to get better and grow.
On a boat, far out the sea
The navigators guide,
The fishers provide,
The cooks cook
They all steer the big and mighty ship together, So, without the navigator, the boat can’t go far, Without the fisher, the cook can’t cook,
Without the cook, the crew all starves.
Without one of these roles, the mighty ship can’t go far.
In life, it is a lot like sailing
We all steer the ship together, big and small role, And every job, everyone,
Is a vital person that is a part of the crew gilding us home.
