The Adventures of Zion and Fu Bao

The Adventures of Zion and Fu Bao - Hailey Min (Steve Luther Elementary School, 6th Grade)

In a land far, far, away there lived two pandas in a zoo. “ I found you!” said Fu Bao. The two pandas Fu Boa and Zion were playing hide and seek which was their favorite sort of panda play in the zoo. 

The day later the zoo inspector came to visit. “ Gosh! This zoo is in horrible shape!” said the zoo inspector Zhang Shi A.K.A the annoyed zoo inspector. As he wrinkled his nose a fly flew into his mouth. “ Yuck, now what! I’m going to have to go inspect the poop filled areas?” 

“ What in the world! How disrespecting!” said Zion. “ I agree, I wonder if he’s going to do anything to our home!” said Fu Bao.

A Month Passed After the Inspection

“ Good afternoon sir.” “ Yuck, just hurry up and let me in the zoo!” said Zhang Shi. 

As Zhang  looks into the panda room Fu Bao accidentally hits him with her paws when she was playing Marco Polo. When she accidently hit him, he whispered,” You're gonna go to Texas and never see this place ever again!”  he cackled.

“ Zion! Zion! Where are you!” cried out Fu Bao. “ I’m here in the panda swing, what do you need?” lazily said Zion. “ I’m scared! The inspector came back and he told me that I wouldn’t be able to see this place anymore! That also means that I’ll be moving away from you!” said 

Fu Bao crying.

“ Nuh uh, he’s not taking you anywhere! You're gonna stay with me and if you go I'll have to go also.” Zion said boldly. Fu Bao, shaking and crying said, “ No it’s better if you stay here I’ll just go, it might be dangerous there.” “ But Fu Bao! We're panda siblings and we always stick together! If you go then I’m gonna go also.”
