Oplismenus

The Oplismenus genus of shade-loving grasses are distributed in many tropical countries and the number of species is disputed by botanists.

Vigorous shoots can be confused with those of Aneilema biflorum. The leaves of the Aneilema are not so long and pointed as those of this grass.
