Project Description
Our service project created a program for children to take free tennis lessons. Our project's purpose was to help children learn more about tennis and improve from taking our free lessons. We started by taking anyone from grades 1st to 5th ,but then for the next lesson decided to help aftercare students to enjoy the thrill of tennis. This was a very helpful project because it let children enjoy tennis and learn some more about it, all without paying a dime. With the watchful eye of Coach Gillespie we were fair and fun to all the kids, teaching what we have learned over the years to children who want to learn.

Our purpose was to help children experience the joy of tennis without having to pay for a lesson. We also wanted to help kids learn more about it and improve.
Reflection
Reflection
We loved doing this project because, besides the little kids being very smart and funny, we were actively helping kids improve their tennis game with what we have learned over the years. It's funny to think about how we both started out just like them, new to tennis, but indefinitely curious and eager to learn more. I think we enjoyed this project even more than the kids did, because we were happy to teach them about one of our greatest passions, tennis. We were so content to see their enthusiastic response to playing with us.
