Project Description
Our project was about creating a book drive for the Oakland Park Library. We asked for book donations at various locations including: Ocean Riviera, The F45 Fort Lauderdale training gym, and Saint Mark's episcopal school. After collecting all the books from their desired locations, we separated them based on genre and age range. Following this, we put them in organized boxes and counted them up. There were a total of 932 books across all 3 of our locations. These books were all donated to the Oakland Park Library.
Purpose

My partner and I, Brody Ness, decided to do this project because we realized a bunch of our friends and family have books they don't need or use anymore. So we realized we could help out our community by donating some of these books to a local library in Oakland Park. By accomplishing this I think we greatly helped our community as a whole and would definitely do it again.
