Kids in Distress Donation Drive 

Project Description

I have collected hundreds of pairs of socks by collaborating with my school and my local church. The huge success is really amazing and we have raised over 1000 pairs of socks. I have taken the socks over to the KID headquarters down near me and they were really happy. We also got to tour the compound looking at all the services they provide. It really turned out amazing!

Purpose

To supply the kids in distress organization with the supplies they need to help their kids in their everyday lives.

Reflection

This project helped me with my collaborative skills, communicating with my church and school. This grew relationships with my church as well, and overall I had a really good time doing this. This project also set up future collaborations with KID in the future.
