Early Care Help

Project Description 

For our project, we read, color, and help take care of the kids that stay in the "before care" with Mrs. Watts and Mrs. Boardman. We arrive at school early every Wednesday for our project.  

Purpose

We created this service project to help kids have fun, while also helping the teachers. Although our main priorities were the kids, we ended up having fun, too! We hoped to accomplish better skills of leadership while gaining experience conversing with different age groups. 

Reflection

We learned how to care for/entertain children from the ages of 3-7 and got a sense of what it would be like to be a teacher. The standards of the National Junior Honor Society are scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The main standards we learned during this service project were service and leadership.
