Project Description

For my service project, I decorated for a series of events and celebrations. This greatly impacts the community, as our community gathers and celebrates all together, strengthening it as a whole. Decorating for events makes them more fun and exciting due to the creation of a greater atmosphere and considerable themes. In these photographs, I decorated for a Valentine’s Day Cookie Decorating Party with many kinds of decorations.

Purpose

This service project was designed to allow events and festivities of the community to hearten and grow into places where all can enjoy as the decorations of events make the atmosphere and pleasure of each and every event. This can be seen as new decorations were created and put in all different kinds of events, each that bring every kind of individual together, increasing kindness and peace all throughout the world.

Reflection

I believe that this service project made not just the community strengthen, but who I am as a whole. With this project, I learned and discovered many skills necessary for life through the meetings of new individuals and discovering how to craft, plan, and take responsibility for what I have done. This is seen as I helped create the decorations for the project and also became in contact with many organizations on how these decorations were going to be set and planning for these events. This project is very rewarding as I saw many in our community interacting and spreading love towards one another, making me feel as if I have contributed as a person.
