CHICKEN SPAGHETTI (Recipe from Joan)
Ingredients:
7 oz. pkg. spaghetti, broken
1 sm.can mushrooms, drained
2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
1 pint (2 cups) sour cream
1 stick butter, melted
Garlic powder, to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Parmesan cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
Paprika
Cooking Directions:
Cook spaghetti according to package directions and set aside.
Melt butter. Add soups and mushrooms. Mix well as you heat over medium to low heat (or heat in microwave).
Add sour cream, chicken, and garlic powder.
Mix cooked spaghetti with chicken mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch casserole.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.
NOTE: I usually cook four chicken breast halves which gives me a little more than 2 cups of chicken. You can also use turkey instead of chicken. Also, if I am taking this to a family with children, I usually leave out the mushrooms since
children frequently don't like mushrooms.
