Velcro is the preferred method of attachment of armor parts for live-action Mandalorians. No method of attachment should be visible except where specified.
Painting and Weathering
The armor primarily colored a medium blue, with cream and black highlights. Care should be taken to match the colors seen on-screen as closely as possible.

Torso
Torso pieces are breastplate, ab plate, collar/”trap” plates, and backplate. All armor should be shaped according to the source material.
The breastplate must be in one piece, with grooves in between the side pieces and the central Iron Heart. The top of the breastplate should be approximately 2” (5 cm) below the sternal notch of the collar bone.
The ab plate must be a separate piece. There should be approximately 1/4” (7 mm) space between the ab plate and the breastplate. There should be approximately 2 ½ - 3” of space between the bottom of the ab plate and the top of the belt.

The backplate curves around the back and has two “wing” extensions below the jetpack.
The backplate supports the jetpack and must either be integral with the jetpack or have secure connection points.
All armor pieces are painted blue and have extensive silver weathering. The central Iron Heart is a heavily weathered silver. The grooves in the breastplate should be a very dark grey. Weathering should match the on-screen version as closely as possible.
All torso armor should be sized appropriately to the wearer. The armor should not “float” on the wearer. No attachment methods should be visible.

There is a groove running along the outer edge of the thigh armor, and the center is inset.
Knee armor should rest on the kneecap. Knee armor curves around the side of the knee but does not cover the back of the leg. Knee armor may be held on with black elastic that blends into the flightsuit, but should also have velcro supports under the armor.
Armor should be sized appropriately to the wearer. Armor is painted blue with extensive silver weathering. Weathering should match the on-screen version as closely as possible.
