ADDING COLUMNS TO YOUR RUNDOWN:
Make sure you are on the "LAYOUT" tab (first arrow), then click on "SELECT COLUMNS" (second arrow).
Columns are listed in ABC order. Find what you'd like to see, and click on it. Then click on the > arrow. "SELECTED FIELDS" shows what is already in your rundown. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "EDITOR" and "WRITER" in your selected fields! The example above of "SELECTED FIELDS" is a common rundown.
You can drag your columns into how you'd like to see them. You can move everything except PAGE #S, STORY SLUG AND SEGMENT. ARROW OVER THE COLUMN NAME IN THE GRAY BAR, DRAG IT TO WHERE YOU'D LIKE IT.
Now that you have your columns placed, you can save your rundown so that it is always the same when you open it.
MAKING YOUR 'PERSONAL' RUNDOWN:
You should still be on the "LAYOUT" tab. Click on "SAVE STORED LAYOUT." Then click "MAKE THIS MY RUNDOWN." You can also create a rundown under "USER" and name it. "MAKE THIS MY RUNDOWN" is the best way to set the default to your favorite view.
FINDING OLD RUNDOWNS:
To find relatively recent (a week or two) rundowns, just click on the HOME icon at the bottom of your screen.
To find an older rundown, click in the SEARCH BAR at the top right of your screen.
Then click on the button on the top far left: "Search Nexstar Content." "SELECT LOCATIONS" will drop down.
Then this box pops up - put checkmarks under all the boxes under the "ARCHIVE" column. Click "APPLY." Now go back to the search bar and search a keyword for scripts. Or click on the calendar icon that says "DATE RANGE" and type in the date you'd like to find. The key is to remember to fill out the check boxes prior to your search.
