The Cricut Explore 3, or Maker 3, has the ability to cut smart Cardstock without a mat. Make sure to check the directional arrows at the backside of the paper liner. This will ensure the paper fits perfectly and is going through the machine.
For using the Cricut 13-inch paper trimmer, cut off the extra cardstock, as it will be used for making the cupcake. As the cardstock is sticky from the back, the pieces will be treated a bit like vinyl, with some wedding afterward. After that, flip the paper and peel the backing out from the cardstock so it cannot be bent.
After that, the process is super simple; you must assemble the banner with glue. There are holes already to cut in your banner pieces so that the thread string can be hung on them.
