The sticky lint roller helps remove all the left bits of paper instead of removing them with hands or tweezers. The lint roller is stickier than a mat, pulling out all the offending hairs and papers. However, it works on the less sticky mat.

So, adhesive removers are heavy solvents used to dissolve the adhesive on your Cricut mat and help remove all the debris. Remember that this method will remove all the adhesive from your Cricut mat. Hence, you need to reapply the adhesive to make your mat work again.

Read all the directions carefully to remove the adhesives from your Cricut mats.
Then, spray a small amount of adhesive remover on your mat.
Use a scraper to spread it all over your mat. You can also use a plastic piece or an old card.
