How To Download SVG Files For Cricut
First, go to Cricut Design Space, and sign in or create your Cricut ID.
Next, tap on Create New Project.
On your bottom left side, tap on Upload.
Once inside the Upload field, tap on Upload Image.
After that, browse where you have stored the SVG image file.
Once you find your SVG file, tap on it to open it in Cricut Design Space.
Once uploaded, you can change your name if you want.
Now, tap on Save Image.
The image has been saved; all you have to do is tap on it and then tap on Insert Image to get it on the Cricut Design Space.

Upload Your SVG File To Cricut Design Space
Don’t tap on your SVG file to open it. By default, SVG files will open in a browser. Instead, log into Cricut Design Space on your PC and create a new project. Tap on the Upload Cloud icon in your left side toolbar. On your next screen, tap on the Upload Image button. Browse to locate and select your SVG file from PC, then open your file to import. Once your image preview is loaded, you have the option to add tags to make it easier to find your image later. Tap on the green Save button on your bottom right side. Your image will appear under Recently loaded images in your library. Want to delete a file? Click on the i icon on the image to access the Delete option.
Open Your Template in the Cricut Design Space
Select images from your recently uploaded images and tap on the Insert Image button. The SVG image will appear on your Canvas, with all the pieces grouped.
Preparing To Cut Your Project
Your template will default be the correct size for your related project. But you can always resize your pieces if you prefer a bigger or smaller project. Cutting Your Papercraft
Once ready to send to your Cricut machine, tap on the green Make It button. Cricut Design Space automatically selects a 12 x 12″ mat and sorts the pieces. If you are using a different paper size, use the Material Size menu to change your size. There are Especially paper templates created to work with 8.5 x 11″ cardstock. Still, you can use a larger sheet if you want. You can rearrange your pieces manually by tapping and pulling your pieces.
