If you are using a computer device, then you can use the following methods to get the app on your Mac and Windows device accordingly.
Go to cricut.com/setup on your Windows PC and type the model of your machine.
Then, you should choose the checkbox to agree with Cricut's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and select Download. (Note: During the download, the screen may change a bit. This will be a little different with every browser. Here, Google Chrome is used as an example.)
Once the download is complete, you can open the file from the browser. (You can also go to the Downloads folder to access your downloaded Cricut file.)
If you see a pop-up asking if you trust this application you have downloaded, select the option to trust the application.
Afterward, the setup window will show the installation progress on the screen.
A new window will appear to show the installation progress.
Once the installation is complete, open the app and complete the sign-in process.
After that, you can use the app to create a design or connect your Cricut machine.
First, you need to open your internet browser on Mac, go to design.cricut.com, and type your machine name in the search section.
On the open page, click on the box to agree to Cricut's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and select Download.
A new window will appear, and you’ll need to choose a folder to save the software file. (Note: By default, it will show your Downloads folder. Click save to start the download.)
After that, the downloading process will start, and the browser may change slightly.
When the process is complete, click on the .dmg file or access it by going to the Downloads or earlier selected folder on your device.
A new window/page will appear on the screen; you need to drag the Design Space icon into the Applications icon to begin the installation process. Design Space for Desktop automatically gets added to your Applications folder.
If you want to launch the Design Space on your desktop, then double-click Design Space in your Applications folder.
A Mac notice will appear on the screen to confirm if you want to open the app that has been downloaded from the internet, and select Open to continue.
On the sign-in page, you need to use your login credentials to access your Cricut account. (Also, you can create a new account by selecting the Create Cricut ID option.)
After that, you can start using your Cricut app and connect your machine to cut different materials.
If you are using an Android or iOS smartphone, then you can use the following methods to get the app on your respective device.
On your iOS smartphone, tap on the App Store icon from the home screen.
Then, look for Cricut Design Space. The app appears as a white square with the word "Cricut" in the center.
Click on the Get button to download the software, and verify the download with your iTunes password if prompted to enter it.
Once the download process is complete, open the app. (The app icon also appears on the home screen of your phone.)
Next, you need to sign in or set up your machine by selecting the Machine Setup button.
Here you go! Your machine is all set to use and make amazing crafts.
Go to the Play Store option on your Android phone and then tap on it.
Next, search for the Cricut Design Space and choose the right option from the results.
After that, wait for the download process to complete and then open the app.
Next, you need to complete the login process or create a new Cricut account.
Also, select the Machine Setup option if you want to connect your machine.
From now on, you can create amazing DIY crafts using the app on your phone and machine.
