Routines are the in-built features of the Google Assistant; they enable you to perform multiple actions in one single command. It is one of the valuable features of Google Assistant. Setting up this helpful Google Assistant Routine feature allows you to automatically do several tasks such as turning off your lights, setting the alarm, and muting your phone. The tasks depend on what you set to your Routine.
Routines feature is available on Google Home and Nest speakers and display. It is also available on Android and iOS devices. There are a few ready-made routines that you can set. Currently, there are seven Google Assistant Routines- Good morning, Bedtime, communicating to work, commuting home, I’m home, Workday, and Leaving home. Open the Google Home application.
Tap on Routines and choose the Routine that you want to edit.
Under “How to start,” tap the trigger you want to edit.
Under “This Routine will,” tap the action you want to edit.
Tap on Save.
