Teddy Bear Cake Pops 🧸♥️ – The Cutest Treat Ever!
I made these Teddy Bear Cake Pops two years ago, and honestly, they are still one of my favorite cake pops ever! 🧸♥️ There’s just something about their adorable little faces that makes them almost too cute to eat! If you love anything teddy bear-themed (like I do), these cake pops are a must-make. They’re perfect for baby showers, birthdays, Valentine’s Day, or just because you love cute desserts!
These little bears are made with rich, moist cake mixed with frosting, coated in smooth chocolate, and decorated with tiny ears, eyes, and noses to bring them to life. I love that you can customize them in different colors, use various flavors, and make them as detailed or simple as you want.
✔️ Absolutely Adorable – They’re tiny, cute, and perfect for teddy bear lovers!
✔️ Deliciously Moist & Chocolatey – The cake + frosting combo is irresistible.
✔️ Fun to Make & Decorate – Great for kids, parties, and special occasions.
✔️ Customizable – Choose different cake flavors, colors, and decorations!
✔️ Perfect for Gifting – Wrap them in treat bags and give them as sweet little gifts!
I used a classic vanilla cake, but you can also use chocolate, red velvet, or funfetti—whatever flavor you love!
After the cake was baked and completely cooled, I crumbled it into fine pieces using my hands.
I added a few spoonfuls of frosting (vanilla, chocolate, or buttercream) to the crumbled cake and mixed until it reached a dough-like consistency.
Then, I rolled the mixture into smooth, evenly-sized balls and placed them on a tray.
Before decorating, I placed the cake balls in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to firm up. This step is so important because it prevents them from falling apart when dipping in chocolate!
I used milk chocolate candy melts for a classic teddy bear look, but you can also use white, dark, or colored candy melts depending on your theme.
If the chocolate was too thick, I added a tiny bit of vegetable oil or coconut oil to make it smoother.
Dipped each cake pop into the melted chocolate, tapping off the excess.
While the chocolate was still wet, I attached:
🐻 Mini chocolate chips or candy melts for the ears.
🐻 A candy pearl or chocolate dot for the nose.
🐻 Tiny black candy sprinkles or melted chocolate dots for the eyes.
Once the pops had hardened, I used a little extra melted chocolate to draw a tiny bear mouth or add more details.
I also brushed on edible shimmer for a soft, magical touch!
🎀 Gift Them! – Wrap each pop in a clear bag with a ribbon for the sweetest edible gift.
🎂 Use as Cake Toppers! – Add them to cupcakes or cakes for an extra cute touch.
🍡 Make a Cake Pop Bouquet! – Arrange them in a jar or mug for a beautiful centerpiece.
🎉 Perfect for Parties! – These are ideal for baby showers, birthdays, or Valentine’s treats.
I absolutely adore these Teddy Bear Cake Pops and I know you will too! Whether you're making them for a special occasion or just because they’re so cute, they are guaranteed to bring smiles. I can’t wait to make them again, and maybe even try different color variations!
