How to make a heart cake:
1. Divide your cake batter between an 8 in square pan and an 8 in round pan (the diameter of the round pan must be the same as the length of the square pan). Bake and cool.
2. Cut the round pan in half and add to two adjacent sides of the square pan.
3. Cover with icing (check out my favorite cream cheese frosting recipe below) to hide the lines and decorate! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
3 tbsp butter, melted
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
natural food colorant (optional)
Directions: Blend together all of the ingredients until smooth, adding colorant if desired!
