The Job Summary gives you a powerful reporting tool that is a real-time summary panel of a Work Order (WO) or Sales Order (SO). The Job Summary shows a Detail view, Planning, Timekeeping and Costing summary.
The Job Summary side-panel consists of five tabs:
Main Menu > Production > Job Summary
This tab shows the Job's Work Order number, Date, Status, Category, Reference and Quantity. It also gives a breakdown of Costing, Estimated, Actual and Variance values. Progress through the Production cycle is shown, as well as a Timekeeping Summary.
The percentage areas 1,2 & 3 indicate the following:
1. The breakdown of Costs, Profits, etc. based on Estimated values. Total = 100%
2. The breakdown of Costs, Profit, etc. based on actual costs. Total = Invoiced = 100% (Percentages only appear once job is invoiced)
3. The Variance between Est. and Actual.
This tab appears if the Job is in Production, and shows a summary view of the Planning Board stages. This also allows you to set a Due Date for the Job.
The Planning tab has its own Menu button providing the following functionality:
By right-clicking on a Task, you can Copy or Delete Tasks, as well as change Statuses.

This tab shows a more detailed view of the Job's costing - listing Material and Services by Estimated, Actual and Variance. This tab also lists the linked Materials and Services.
This tab shows the time logged against the Job by the Timekeeping module or Tracker, and lists it by Type, Date, Item, Cost Centre, Code, Operator and Hours.
