Printing outsourcing is not only about renting a printer but hiring a company that is going to manage your needs related to documents and printing.
Creating a Printing Outsourced Estimate
In BOSPrint you can create Printing Outsourced Estimates for work that needs to be outsourced, and requires your own markup on it.
Navigation
Main Menu > Customers > Quotations > New > Printing Outsourced Estimate
Navigation-bar > Quotations > New > Printing Outsourced Estimate
Header
- Customer - Select the customer name
- Contact - Select the contact information.
- Category - Select Outsourced.
- User Fields - Complete Reference, Specification and Size as per the client’s spec.
- Qty field - Add the quantity in numeric format.
- Add Qty - Click the button to activate the application's calculations.
- Summary - This panel is a live-updated summary of the quotation's elements, costs and percentages.
Pre-Press
Add Remarks, Items, Proofs and Custom Items or any other Pre-Press requirements, such as ‘Remark: Artwork supplied.’
Printing
This tab looks slightly different to the Printing Estimate. You can add fields by clicking Add and manually type in them, or you can select items from the drop down lists in Printing, Finishing and Suppliers.
- Printing - Click Add, and enter the Section, Inks and Paper needed for this printing job.
- Finishing - Click Add, and enter any Finishing services needed for the printing job.
- Suppliers - Here you can Add multiple suppliers. Click Add, and enter the Supplier name and reference.
- Suppliers check-box - This allows you to select the best suited supplier by simply checking the desired Supplier's box.
- Price - Here you can enter the Supplier's Price. This will be the fixed price for their printing service. You can enter different prices for each quantity.
Materials
Add any additional Materials that you need to provide, if any.
Despatch
If this job needs to be delivered to the client by your company, complete this section.
Costs
Here you will find a summary of all the costs in the estimate.
Pricing
Set your markup and click Save.
E-mails
Send your quotation to your client for approval.
