Donate Life

The main idea that guided my artwork was the donate life design competition. I wanted to create something that made me feel happy that I thought might make other people feel happy. I decided to pick a song that made me happy as a kid and change some of the lyrics to fit the criteria.

To create this piece of artwork I used pencil to sketch out my idea, oil based paint markers, and bristol board.

I started my work out by sketching out my idea on bristol board paper. Once I was happy with the sketch I started going over it with oil based paint markers to write the words and color in the designs. My design didn't change much from the beginning of the sketch to the final product. I wanted to create something that made people feel happy so I thought of something from when I was a kid, and now, that makes me feel happy. I decided to pick a song that I've always liked and I changed some of the lyrics to fit the criteria.
