The Jade Wetlands

Previously known as the Elven Forest, this land was decimated during the Norian War of 1125AC, with the forest burned to nothingness and then magically doused the land absorbed the water and became something new, turning into a thick swampy area. 

Rebuilding efforts are ongoing, but most of the residents are having to choose between not returning at all, or building a whole new home and life for themselves. 

Having previously been very insular, this opening up of the area has formed a new trade route between Aberddu and the sea of stars, though travel is primarily by flat bottomed boat. Aberddu have agree to take the Wetlands under their protection and help pay for rebuilding in exchange for access to this new route.
