Caros, Lady of War: A beautiful woman holding an intricate blade
Caros revels in the pursuit of war, her followers seek out battle and revel in the fury of the fight. They care little for the reasons or morality of the war only that they obtain victory, often at any cost.
Kyrak, Lord of Blood: A well dressed man with an outstretched palm
His followers perform ritual bloodletting and sacrifices. They hunt down heretics and heathens and sacrifice their souls to the glory of Keesoth, leaving their souls to continue forever in screaming pain on the plains of darkness. They believe that Keesoth will be grateful for these souls and look on them kindly.
Hecate,
She of the slaughter, followers of Hecate believe that everyone must die, sooner rather than later, and that you want to speed up this process as much as possible. To follow Hecate is to invite mistrust from others, after all you will glorify in their deaths, when you get around to them of course.
The Great Horned Rat:
A once-demon, previously worshipped by Ratkin across the world. Ascended to become an aspect of Keesoth and now represents plague and poisoning and backstabbing your enemies.
Beliefs:
Keesoth is the Darkest of the Gods. Ostensibly the God of Warfare, Blood and Murder the followers of Keesoth follow a wide range of doctrines. Keesoth is counterpart and opposite to Amroth, god of Honour.
Holy Days:
Nical Day 9th January - On this day, All High Acolytes of the Carosite Brethren are stripped naked, lashed 100 times and hung by their arms from the Temple Walls from dusk until dawn, in order to prepare for the year ahead.
Ganakeve 1st May - All-night feast and entertainment to commemorate Narin Il Ganak, well attended by all.
The Moon of Blood first New Moon in July for 28 days - A whole moon cycle is dedicated to the ritual slaughter of the heathens and heretics by the cults of the Lord of Blood. This slaughter starts on the first new moon in July (only practiced in Ctuma, Ba’al and Jaffria).
Festival of Blood 30th October - Mainly celebrated by the followers of Kyrak. This festival takes the form of a number of ritual bloodletting ceremonies and floggings.
