Necromancer Spells

By The Void...

Level 1

Detect Void

Caster is aware of all undead or voidal presence within an area at the time of casting. Undead or Voidal beings must say ‘Ping’.

Expose Grave

Caster can locate and expose a grave, if none available a body is summoned from the void. This can be used for summoning or other Necromancer spells.

Rupture Corpse

Caster causes a corpse to explode knocking the closest person to the ground. Target within 10ft of a corpse takes a Strikedown. Note Corpse has to have an expired death count.

Summon Lesser Undead

Caster can summon a lesser Undead from the void or use a corpse to create a lesser undead. When the caster uses this spell they can choose to summon a Skeleton or a Zombie. If the caster uses a corpse when casting the spell the summon gets +1 endurance. Only 1 summon can be controlled.

 

Skeleton: 2 hits per, Deals Single Vulnerable to Holy

Zombie 3 hits per, Deals Double, Slow moving, Vulnerable to Holy

Level 2

Dark Bolt

Caster can do single enchanted cold to a specified location on the target.

Darkness

Caster can expel a burst of the darkness of the grave from themselves. This will cause all those within 10ft of the caster to be blinded for 5 seconds.

Death Mask 

Caster can wrap their body in the embrace of the void, they will take on a corpse-like appearance and change their nature to Undead. This spell can be dispelled at any time, but while under these effects the caster has all the healing requirements of being Undead as well as Vulnerability to Holy and can be turned as if they were Greater Undead. Lesser Undead will ignore the caster while the spell is active however will attack if attacked. The caster still has their regular Death Count.

Cramp

Caster uses voidal energy to cause an individual's hand muscle into a painful cramp. This will cause them to drop anything they are currently holding as per Disarm. The Individual also suffers Single Cold Through to each arm holding something.

Level 3

Rigor Mortis

Caster can force a living body into a state of rigor mortis, causing a full body paralysis for up to 5 seconds.

Feed from the Weakness

Caster can use a corpse to heal themselves if the corpse is not severed on it's core. This grants 10 points of healing to the caster and severs the corpse to all locations. Note Corpse means its death count has expired.

Nefarious Shadow

Caster calls forth the power of the void to tear away at the spells of another. If the target fails the save, their lowest level active, non-permanent spell is ripped apart by voidal energy, the target taking the spell's level in Enchanted Cold through damage to the core as the spell shatters. (If there are two active spells of the same level the caster may choose which spell is affected).

Ghost    

Caster can summon the ghost of a specific person from either the astral, void or the realm of a god. The caster can summon a ghost of an individual using a name or description or corpse of the deceased. The ghost is able to talk and has the full memory and cognitive capacity of the person at their time of death. The ghost will return to rest at the end of the spell duration. If the ghost is unreachable then the spell will fail but not cost any spell points. The ghost can only be heard by the caster and in return can only understand the Caster.

Level 4


Summon Dark Servant

Caster can summon an undead from the void or use a corpse to create a lesser undead. When the caster uses this spell they can choose to summon a Ghoul or Wraith. If the caster uses a corpse when casting the spell the summon gets +1 endurance. Only 1 summon can be controlled.


Wraith: 3 hits per, Immune to Normal, Deals Double Enchanted cold, 1 use of Endurance rank drain, Vulnerable to Holy


Ghoul: 4 hits per,  Immune to Normal, Deals Doubles Cold, 1 use of Rigor Mortis, Vulnerable to Holy

Consume Flesh

Caster can use a corpse to coat themselves in flesh provided the corpse is not severed on it's core. This grants 2 ranks of “Natural” Armour to the caster and severs the corpse to all locations. This spell does not stack.

Terror

Caster reaches into the Void and brings forth the images and screams of the Denizens that dwell their, causing everyone within 10ft to flee from the caster for 10 seconds.

Void Blade

Caster can imbue their weapon with voidal energy adding enchanted cold through to its damage.

Level 5

Necrotic Explosion

Caster causes a corpse to explode in a violent shower of bone shards. This causes a sever to all locs to the corpse and deals Triple Cold Strikedown to all locs to everyone within 10ft of the corpse.

Necrotic feast

Caster can draw the voidal energies out of undead to heal themselves. The Caster has to touch an undead which will kill it and they receive a Complete healing. Greater Undead will get a save and may not necessarily kill them.

Tomb Rot

Caster can inflict a foul disease on an individual, which will cause a single effect to each location every 10 seconds until either cured or the target begins their Death Count. This does not stack. It is a magical disease that only cured through Complete Healing.

Level 6

Scream of the Void

Caster can cause triple enchanted through cold to the core of all individuals within 10ft range

Ethereal

Caster can cause themselves and any items they are wearing to shift partially into the void to become ‘ethereal’ giving them little substance on the material plane. They can pass through solid non-magical objects, but are invisible and cannot interact with the material world. The caster can still see into the world but is unable to hear anything as the eternal screams of the void fill their ears.

Dominion

Caster can control either all lesser undead inside the target area with no save, or a single targeted greater undead with a save. This spell directly controls the body and voidal energies within the undead, and as such by-passes any immunities to mind effects.

Void Passage  

Caster can enter the void and use it effectively to travel from one place to another almost instantly. The caster is also able to transport their minion if they are touching it.

Level 7

Desecrate Corpse

Caster causes a corpse to explode with voidal energy. This causes a sever to all locs to the corpse and deals Hex Enchanted Cold Strikedown to all locs to everyone within 10ft of the corpse.

Voidal Eclipse

The Caster calls forth the power of the void to strip an individual of all their active, non-permanent spells. The individual then takes the combined levels of the destroyed enchantments in Enchanted Cold through damage to the core as their magic shatters apart. This does not affect permanent spells and items.

Fell Blade

Caster can instil the void's eternal cold within their weapon. The weapon will call Loc Zero on the next blow and be destroyed completely, leaving shards of voidal metal within the target. Infecting them with a magical disease which makes them Vulnerable to Cold (takes +1 damage from cold) This disease is permanent until a cure is found. If the weapon is not used within 15 minutes it dissolves.

Corruption

Caster will corrupt the next thing that they touch, turning it foul. The corruption will cause water to become poisonous, organic matter to rot, metal to corrode. Should the caster corrupt a living individual, the individual will immediately perish if they fail the save, falling to zero on all locations and setting their death count to zero. Should this be cast on an item the item will decay into nothing and cannot be restored, magical items receive a save against this.
