The Guild
The Aberddu Adventurer's Guild, or AAG, is the primary driving force behind solving a lot of the world's ills. It is made up of people from all over the map, drawn together with the singular goal of becoming adventurers. Whether that be with noble and heroic intent, a desire to save the world, a desire to learn or explore or just a desire to make some quick cash, the guild welcomes everyone, no matter the skill set or real world experience.
Though the Guild is officially run by NPCs, they delegate important duties to the adventurers and trust them to handle themselves for the most part, the guild vote in these positions themselves with no input from the Guild Master(s). These roles are listed below.
Roles within the AGG
Adventure Master
First in Command
Organises guild adventuring parties
In charge of the adventuring department of the AAG
Has access to and can spend guild funds, as well as a voice within meetings between guilds.
Can remove someone from one of the offices, the office will be opened to a general vote. Cannot remove someone less than a month from being voted into position.
Guild Quartermaster
Second in Command
In charge of handing out guild items from the vault and maintaining the items.
Can sell guild items and with permission from Adventure Master purchase items at discount.
Once per session can summon a named item from the vault.
Guild Cleric
You are granted the Guild Cleric item which can be used to communicate with the temples and allows the following:
Once per session can request assistance from one of the temples within the city, this can be use to cast one clerical spell through a pendant that links with the temples, or provide healing/temple reinforcements, or additional aid at ref discretion.
Any spell with a roleplay component cannot be cast through the item.
Additional assistance can be gained twice per session after this initial request, but each will be charged to the guild at an increasing rate. With the second being double the price of the service and the third being quadruple the price.
Guild Mage
You are granted the Guild Mage item which can be used to communicate with the Mages Guild and allows the following:
Once per session can request a transfer of 10 spell points or the use of one arcane spell, excluding bard spells, through a pendant that links with the mages guild.
Any spell with a roleplay component cannot be cast through the item.
Additional assistance can be gained twice per session after this initial request, but each will be charged to the guild at an increasing rate. With the second being double the price of the service and the third being quadruple the price.
Guild Ambassador
You are granted the Guild Ambassador item which can be used to communicate with the embassies and allows the following:
Once per session can request assistance from the bard's guild, within the city, this can be to provide a spell from the bard list, or provide information or support etc.
Any spell with a roleplay component cannot be cast through the item.
Additional assistance can be gained twice per session after this initial request, but each will be charged to the guild at an increasing rate. With the second being double the price of the service and the third being quadruple the price.
