Pandora

Pandora is an island that appeared in the Southern Ocean in 1124AC following the birth of a dragon by the same name. The baby dragon settled to sleep and formed the island, sometimes referred to as the Isle of Pandora. Contrary to its age, it is filled with dense ancient forests, interwoven with high hills and low swamps, all covered by a thick mist. Most residents of the Isle claim to have lived there their entire lives, despite the fact that the Island has existed only for a short time. 

The forests are said to be filled with horrible monsters that lurk just out of sight and attempt to lure the unwary off the paths. The local villages are connected by carefully curated paths through the forests, lit with lanterns to keep the darkness at bay. Step off the path at your peril.
