Professional Bio

I am a first-year Data Science Master's student. I'm from Eden Prairie, MN, and graduated with my Bachelor's from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in the Spring of 2023 with a double major in Statistics and Computer Science. I have always had a passion for space, and actually started out my undergraduate career as an aerospace engineering major, so I'm looking forward to applying my Master's emphasis and background to the DSMMA program. I have interned in both the healthcare (Optum) and tech consulting (Accenture) industries, and am hoping I can use some of my knowledge from those experiences to bring new perspectives to projects that I work on in this program. I'm excited to learn more about the MMA field and meet and collaborate with my colleagues for the next two years!

Personal Bio

I aim to stay pretty active outside of school by going on long walks around the many Minnesota lakes, around campus, or even in my apartment's gym. It has always served as an excellent way to get my mind off stressful events going on in my life. I also love music! Whether playing the violin and/or piano or just listening to some of my favorite artists such as Frank Ocean, Brent Faiyaz, etc. Along with staying active, music also serves as a way for my mind to destress, especially during the school year. Overall, I am a huge advocate for mental and physical health!
