Spaghetti a Gamberi With Cherry Tomatoes
Do you remember walking through the old tiny streets of Italy in Summer? Well, this recipe will transport you back to Italy. Despite this, this recipe will also make you feel like you are at the beach enjoying one hot summer day eating Spaghetti a Gamberi with Cherry Tomatoes. In fact this dish is delicious and can serve four people.
Materials
Frying pot
Large pot
Wooden spoon
Garlic crusher
Strainer
Tongs
Ingredients
1 kg Australia Frozen prawns with tails (already peeled)
3 cloves of garlic
2 pinches of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 pinch of chilli flakes
500 grams of spaghetti
250 grams cherry tomatoes
2 pinches of Parmesan cheese
Shredded pieces of Basil
Method
Remove fresh frozen prawns from the freezer, and defrost them for one hour
Place a little bit of oil in a frying pan and heat the oil on low
Crush 3 cloves of garlic with the garlic crusher and add it to the frying pan
Once the garlic is golden brown, add the prawns and toss until they change colour
Add 250 grams of cherry tomatoes to the prawns and toss gently for 30 seconds
Take the frying pan off the stove and place it to the side
Get a large pot and fill ¾ with water and place on the stove to boil
Once water is boiling, add a pinch of salt to the water for extra flavor
Add the spaghetti, and stir it around to let it cook for 12 minutes
Strain the spaghetti and add it to the frying pan with 1kg of prawns and 250 grams of cherry tomatoes
Add a pinch of chili flakes, salt and pepper
Gently mix the spaghetti, prawns and cherry tomatoes with tongs for 10 seconds
Use tongs to serve in bowl
Add parmesan cheese and shredded basil for flavour
