Hello! Today we will be making Alfajores and it wil am smelling the fresh aroma of a food so great l have most sertenty that you will enjoy the food and you will be transported to a felled of duo coconut shredding and a center of caramel and freshly bake circle of duo and some nice butter and i am transported it feels like a soft mushy center with caramel and crunchy cookies and follow the recipe to have a taste of a delicious dream’s l remind you of walking down the happyest street with caramel roads

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup Flour (or 250g) caramel 350g

  • 2 ⅛ cups 300g Cornstarch

  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder

  • ½ teaspoons of Baking soda

  • Unsalted butter

  • 150g powdered sugar ½ cup of shredded coconuts

  • 3 Egg yolks

  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • Lemon peels


Equipment

  • Oven

  • Mixer

  • Whisk

  • Two bowls

  • Measuring cup

  • Measuring spoon

  • Cookie cutter

  • Roller

  • Serving plate


Method

  1. Gather all of you ingredients

  2. Preheat the oven to 180C

  3. In one bowl add 200g of flour and then add 2 teaspoons of baking soda in to the bowl and 150g of powdered sugar

  4. Then add cornstarch and mix ingredients together

  5. In a separate bowl place the unsalted butter and add lemon skin

  6. Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract then get and electric mixer and mix it together until feels like mush

  7. Add the ingredients from the first bowl into the second bowl and keep mixing with the electric mixer for 15 min until well combined

  8. Put the duo onto a table and flatten it with a roller and the use the cookie cutter and take it out and put it in the freezer for 1 hour

  9. Then put it in the oven for 7 min and take 2 out of the oven and what for it to cool for 3 min and add caramel to the centre and add on the sides coconut shredding


You will have a nice alfajora to eat and I guarantee you it will be tasty. Yum!
