Ethan Koh's Choc-Chip Cookies

Does the Coronavirus lockdown have a mental toll on you? Well my Choc Chip Cookies will be sure to bring you up. With a melted chocolate core, and a crunchy outer shell, you will be craving for more. This delicious recipe will delight your taste-buds no matter who you are.

Ingredients

  • One Egg

  • 1/2 a Cup of Castor Sugar

  • 1/2 a Cup of Brown Sugar

  • 125g of Softened Cream Butter

  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Self-Raising Flour

  • 1 Cup of Choc-Chips

Equipment

  • Whisk of Choice (Manual Or Auto)

  • Oven

  • Baking Tray

  • Baking Paper

  • Wooden Spoon

  • Bowl

  • Sifter

  • Fork (Optional)

Method

  1. First, sift your flour in a bowl and put it to the side.

  2. Mix your cream butter and both types of sugar into another bowl. After thoroughly mixed add your egg and vanilla extract and beat with a whisk (automatic or manual).

  3. Then mix in the flour and choc-chips until well combined.

  4. Now take heaped teaspoons of the mixture and place them on the baking tray (with baking paper).

  5. With your fingers (or a fork), flatten the mixture until a round flat cookie shape is formed.

  6. Then bake your cookies at 120C for 10-12 minutes or until golden in colour.
