Canadian Math Contest

Mathematics contests are a fun way for students to grow their problem-solving skills, build confidence and get creative with maths.

Our SWA students participate in Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests on November 18th, 2021. Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 took part in the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Mathematics Contests on February 24th, 2022. These are organised by the University of Waterloo and taken by students from around the world.

We would like to acknowledge the amazing work that teachers and parents did to assist students in preparing for and writing these contests. It is very encouraging to have so much support so that we can still keep this fun challenge even during the Covid 19 pandemic. We are committed to finding ways to continue to encourage students to explore deeper in mathematics.
