Kartini Day

On Thursday, April 21st, 2022, ES held its first offline assembly to celebrate Kartini Day. Kartini was a prominent Indonesian activist who advocated for women's rights and female education. As we remember Kartini, we also remember the true Kartinis in our life; our mom, sister, aunt, teachers, and more.

A musical ensemble "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,'' from G2 preluded the assembly. Aradhya (G4) then came up to the stage and delivered a brief introduction about Kartini and her accomplishments. The event continued with a poem recitation by Devanka (G3) and a solo song performance by Raffa (G5) and Mr. Freddy on the piano.

At the end of the assembly, a photo slideshow was played, displaying photos of students and teachers posing with their mums.
