EY Celebration of Learning (Semester 1)

The Early Years community recognises the children's Semester 1 milestone during the Celebration of Learning held on Thursday, 16^th December 2021 with the theme "Discover the gifts of giving and friendship this holiday season." This event was based on the book entitled "The Bear Stays Up for Christmas" written by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman. It is a story of a bear who tries his best to keep himself awake just to prepare surprises for his friends. This book teaches the children to share with their family members, friends, and other children. In relation to the theme, the Early Years level spearheaded a book drive, which aims to give books to the children taken care of by Cahaya Pelangi and Ehipassiko Foundations.

This year’s celebration is a breakthrough moment for the EY Department having engaged the children in an event that is enjoyed by both online and offline attendees.
