Grade 10 A has gone a busy yet meaningful and beneficial year for them to grow as risktaker, caring, open-minded, and organized young people. Not only produce their Personal projects based on their interest and creativity, but the students also conduct projects in Service as Action to support others and the environment. Some students work on their projects and relate them to traditional non-profit service programs and some others relate their projects with social enterprise. Throughout the projects, the students work in teams to apply their collaboration and communication skills. Moreover, some of the students also have roles in Student Councils that challenge them to balance their study and their organization and management skills with the Stuco Programs. Overall, the Grade 10 students have shown their determination and commitment throughout the year in balancing their academic pursuits, creativity, interest, and organizations at school that we believe these characteristics will lead them to a successful career and life.
Grade 10 B had a great year as a class. This year they enjoyed joining several activities and participating in competitions, extracurricular activities, and more. This is also their IGCSE year and the majority of the class members joined the exams, which will certainly provide them a unique experience. They also participated in several class projects, Service as Action activities, which is an eye-opening experience for them by giving them the chance to give back to society. Class 10B excelled in all aspects as they overcame the challenges imposed by this unique academic year in their transition from the MYP into the DP programme. The UGC sessions were certainly exciting and so it was choosing their DP subjects. The class has a wide range of characters and interests, which makes them a unique group with so much talent.
Being a diverse class, they really embrace and materialise the traits of the IB Learner Profile (caring, risk-taker, communicator, balanced, inquirer, principled, knowledgeable, open-minded, and thinkers). The class matured a lot this year and they are now ready for their last two years of their high school journey in the DP programme. Good luck and all the best.
