Feet

I'm calling this photo, Relevé because this dancer (Makenzie) is in Relevé. Makenzie’s feet are the subject of this photo, based off our feet theme. I choose to use this idea for the feet theme because I wanted to show the strength that dancers need in their feet to have good balance and just to be a good dancer in general. I create this photo after one of my classes at the dance studio I used one of our empty rooms and had Makenzie stand on Relevé in the center of the room and I had to lay on the floor to get a good close up angle and then I edited this photo and played around with the color and light and all the different options when you edit a photo and while I was editing this the back of the photo got so dark that it went black and I really liked that because it really made the main/only focus be her feet. While creating this piece I wanted to get as clear of a picture as I could and I was really excited when I did because last year in photography one I would struggle to get my photo’s clean and clear. I love the way this photo came out because I tried my best to get them exactly or as close to the idea that I had in my head. I think that I have grown a lot as an artist because I now have more ideas and I feel like I can finally complete those ideas and make them real. The only thing I struggle with is finding people and when someone can take time out of there day to have me take photos of them.
