The setting/subject of my creation is the Leading lines of the roots climbing up the rocks to get to the top of bradbury mountain, and the trees framing the sky. To make this photo I crouched down to get an angle up view.
The materials I used .. technically I did not use any materials I just used the natural landscape of earth. I choose to create this specific picture because I liked how the roots were formed. One principle that i have in the photo that I picked is reputation because the roots keep repeating themselves like a pattern but not in the same way (they are different but the same at once). The photo is composed/arranged as leading lines, framing, high horizon line, close distance, high key lighting.
The composition rules that are in my photo are leading lines, framing, high horizon line, close distance. Leading Lines is the roots which is the main focus of the photo. Framing is the trees in the background because the trees are framing the top border of the picture and down a quarter of the sides. High Horizon Line is the sky at the the top of the photo. Close Distance is the roots and being up to them. I changed the color and lighting in the photo plus a little more definition with the lines.
The meaning/the story of this photo is to be able to overcome struggles in life “climb up a mountain to get to the solution.”
In the picture the roots represent a ladder or stairs as a struggle to overcome like when a problem comes up in life you have to be ready to “Climb up it” or beat it.
In the future I want create different photos for example I think I should have photos of and object with a shadow casting behind it or have different/new angles.
The photo that I chose is called “Latter up the mountain”, here it is below.
