First Photo

Second Photo

Third Photo

The subject for my creation is Life After Death and how after something or someone dies there is still life in different ways. I used different materials for the three for all of the photo's I used a dead plant that still had some life, for the first one I used a black chair. For the second photo, I used again a dead plant but had the life to grow a tomato. The third photo had the wilting flowers. The reason I chose to create these photos is that the artists that I chose to create an inspired photo on were Tom Chambers' photo called "Two Chairs" and Lori Nix's photo called "Dawn". "Two Chairs" and "Dawn" both have the setting of Life after Death for "Dawn" Its the city after all human life is dead but plants still grow. For "Two Chairs" It's the girl that had died and her spirit was still thereafter. So I chose to go with the setting of Life After Death as the plants are dead but they still have some life, for example, the wilting flowers or the leaves and the tomato.

The composition rules that are in the three photos are High Horizon Line for the photo with the black chair in the back because the horizon line is at the top of the photo. Selective Focus for the one with the tomato because the background of the photo is blurred. Rule of Thirds for the last photo of the flowers because the stems fill the whole photo.

The way that the photos were changed was the lighting, definition and I also cropped the photos to only have the most important aspects of the photos.

The meaning of the photos that I created is that there is always "Life After Death" and that after someone or something dies there will always be life whether it a spirit of a person or plants still growing after its half dead.

These photos relate to my life in the way as ever since I was little if been able to see my grandfather who died before I was born and people in my family have been able to see/feel the presence of someone's spirit.

There are always new ways that I can fix my photography style, for example, I should have better angles and edit in different ways, and once I have a different camera the photos will be crisper and clearer.
