Crayola
I’m calling this project, Crayola because that is the brand of markers that are in this photo and this is a popular brand of markers for kids because it is washable. The subject is green and red markers based on complementary colors. For materials, I used a red Crayola marker and a green one that is complementary to the red one. I used a variety of techniques and methods including using a blur tool and sharpen on the logo of the marker. \While creating this work, I paid close attention to getting the complimentary color correct by using photoshop to use the tools to find the correct color. I wanted my artwork to look like an advertisement and I did that by showing a brand on the markers. However, I struggled with finding an idea that was not simple, though this photo is. If I created another work like this I may make it less boring. My work shows that I learned what complementary colors are.
