Reflection

At the beginning of this quarter, I didn't really have that much experience with photography, the only experience that I had was taking random photos on my phone. For most of the quarter, I didn't have a camera so I had to use my phone to take the photos. The photos weren't the best. But some of them came out good. In the beginning, I wasn't sure I would do good because I was so new at everything.

Most of my photos had the same setting which is just outside, my cat, people I dont really have many photos that are taken inside and I hope I will in the future. I enjoy photographing nature, my cat, people. I take a lot of my photos in my backyard.

For the meanings of each photo that I chose for my artist Statements, I came up with randomly after looking at the photo and seeing a story in the image. I think that having a creative mind is very helpful when It comes to different types of arts, Though sometimes the person viewing the art won't see it, then you can just explain the meaning or story behind that art in an artist statement.

This quarter I think that I learned a lot about photography. I feel like doing the presentations was vary good for me because I would normally have an anxiety attack and then get a bad grade because of it. It was hard trying to get some photos because I have a tight schedule and I'm not allowed to drive. I am kind of nervous for the next quarter because I have never Used a film camera before, I’m sure I'm not the only one But I will do my best as I did for this quote. And I hope that I will keep creating more images outside of school.
