Sustained Investigation 2

The story and point of this particular project is to demonstrate someone or a mood that is unsettled and maybe a little confused in my artwork. I created this project with a picture I took when I was on a trip in the west again. I wanted to use this landscape and just use the colors strategically with the pens. The project relates to my life again because it was a picture I took, I made it and also because I changed the colors to how I was feeling and how I wanted to portray a different mood than the one in the first sustained investigation.

For this project I used completely different tools than my first investigation. The things that I used similarly were the pencils and rulers for the boarder, and the pencil also for the outlining of the project. And finally for the minimal amount of tools used for this particular piece of artwork were fine-pointed pens to create nice lines to show emotion and flow throughout the project.

The process for this project is pretty similar to the one before, I used to create this artwork was first finding a picture then deciding how I wanted to change my artwork from that picture. Next, I used a pencil to create a border and outline my project. Then were it goes different is instead after I just traced over my pencil markings and drawing with the different colored pens then after I erased the pencil marks so it looked a lot cleaner and a little brighter and more vibrant. My project evolved because originally I wasn't going to add color and just use pencils but after consideration of the mood of the project, so I added in the color and became happier. If I were to go back in with this project I might add in some more color so it doesn't look as white and bright.
